About Jonathan Carroll

Jonathan D. Carroll, M.A. Jonathan D Carrollhas several years of experience helping children and adults meet personal, professional and educational goals. He specializes in assisting clients with ADD/ADHD, Executive Functioning deficits, school functioning concerns (organization, study strategies, etc.), life coaching, and Special Education (learning disabilities and social/emotional concerns). As an adult managing his own ADHD, Jonathan Carroll helps clients all over the world achieve success through a variety of effective strategies and techniques.

Jonathan Carroll received a B.A. in Communication from DePaul University in Chicago and a M.A. in Learning Disabilities with additional studies in Social/Emotional Disorders from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. His graduate thesis examined ADD/ADHD and the use of medication along with alternative intervention strategies.

In addition to founding and managing Carroll Educational Group, (www.carrolleducationalgroup.com) he also created and manages IEP Experts (www.iepexperts.com) to help clients with Special Education needs. His other professional memberships include the CEC (Council for Exceptional Children), ACO (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Coaches’
Organization), CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), ADDA (Attention Deficit Disorder Association), LDA (Learning Disabilities Association), COPAA (Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates) and IPA (Illinois Psychological Association).

Jonathan Carroll is considered an expert in the field of education. In addition to helping individuals and families, he is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars highlighting current trends in education. He is a featured guest on ABC, FOX and NBC newscasts in Chicago discussing various topics on education.

Outside interests include watching and participating in sports, fishing, reading, music and technology.
